Ok, no new studio pictures yet but I did get back to work quicker than expected! Working on a fun cha-cha bracelet now but they take forever so I decided to give my brain some exercise and work out a piece I’d had in my head since I got the stones in.
I absolutely love the delicate green of these faceted chrysoprase stones – it’s just, well, serene. I threw in 3 tiny labradorites – which actually all do have teeny tiny green flashes to them though only the center one shows it in the picture, wrapped it all in sterling silver, and hung it all on a sterling chain of dainty round links.
I have a hard time photographing faceted stones so, though I took a gazillion pictures, this is the only one that showed the faceting – argh!
To give you an idea of scale, the chain is 17″ long and the pendant is just about 1.125″ long (probably about 1/2 the size you’re seeing it here – depending on your monitor, of course).
Hope you enjoyed your Labor Day weekends!

Absolutely beautiful! I love that wrapped wire segment between them – I see your point about the difficulty with photos. The labradorite is a bit difficult to see in the picture; I can only make out two of them in this photo…
It’s definitely a beautiful, clean piece! (:
