(Or not … I guess it depends on your perspective. Me, I found it quite absorbing…)
So, rivets. An interesting challenge to be sure. Here are a couple of pics of my riveted bangle. It’s a WIP but I’m setting it aside until I can learn to solder for now. Since I teased you with mention of it, I figured I’d best post a picture! Also below are a cute pair of riveted earrings I made up with the bits and pieces laying about on my desk. They do have an almost mirror finish that doesn’t really show in the picture.
Hope you enjoy!
And the Rosie earrings…

Oh man! I think this is the coolest-looking bangle EVER! It feels so modern, and I can’t wait to see what the finish product comes out looking like. Are you going to be adding more to it once you learn soldering? I think the simplicity of how it is now is fabulous all on its own.
The matching earrings are also v. awesome.
Hi Amanda!
Nope, not adding to it, just… solidifying… it. (It tends to fold at the rivet points now and, well, somehow I don’t think a bangle that folds is probably what people are looking for.)
Cheers!

I love riveting! Haven’t done nearly enough of it. I love the bangle and earrings…the big chunky rivets give them that cool industrial-chic look. Pretty and feminine is beautiful, and always will be, but it’s always refreshing to see this type of design. And I don’t see enough of it. Make more!
