The new and improved website design that is! There are still a couple of tweaks I’m working out but it’s my hope that folks’ll find this a lot more user friendly…
The new site features:
- A much lighter and brighter look!
- FAR less scrolling!!
- Categories that make more sense!
- Links on the left instead of the right for easier use by people with smaller screen resolutions!
- Date of latest update so folks can see if it’s been updated since they were last there!
- A gallery of custom and favorite sold pieces
- Useful items for sale that weren’t on there before such as earring backs, necklace extenders, plain sterling chains, leather cords, and anti-tarnish tabs!
- New SALE page!
What am I hoping to add down the road? Well, I’d love to add a search feature but I’m finding that the coding for that is a bit above my ability at this point. I will also be adding lots and lots of information about various metaphysical properties of the semiprecious stones I use because, basically, *I* find it interesting! (Which is why I’d love a search feature – because then one could read about fluorite, say, and then search for jewelry with fluorite in it!) Obviously, new jewelry will be added, various sales will come and go, the jewelry offerings will change seasonally and…
I’m also committing (with the exception of the week in which I’ll be in the hospital) of updating the website once every week to ten days! I really am. I’ve got a calendar all mapped out.
